The case and bracelet show some scratches appropriate for their age, but the case is sturdy and makes a good impression.
The dial is a rare circle mirror 6-dot design from the early days of the Ref. 1016, and is in excellent condition with a strong luster still intact.
The hour and minute hands were replaced in later years, but the other parts are consistent and the condition is good, so if you are looking for a vintage Explorer, this is definitely one to consider.
