The Lange 1 is a representative model of A. Lange & Söhne, a watch maker based in Saxony, Germany. It combines an extraordinary dial design with Lange's unique innovative technology.

Model features

Because the Moon module reproduces the average cycle of 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes, and 3 seconds from one new moon to the next with utmost fidelity, an error of one day will occur only after 122.6 years. The monthly ring surrounding the dial of the new "Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar," which focuses on the complicated mechanism that gives the model its name, was developed with ingenuity to integrate the perpetual calendar into the unique design of the Lange 1.

Product design

Through the see-through back, you can admire the beautifully finished movement "Cal.L021.3," one of the charms of Lange. The main complication of the Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar is the perpetual calendar, but it also features a day/night indicator and moon phase display. The solid gold celestial disc on the lower layer rotates once every 24 hours, and the blue hue of the sky changes according to day and night.
