It has just arrived so let me introduce it to you!
The Comex model is a watch manufactured by Rolex for the French diving company Comex.
This is a special model made to order.
As proof of this special order, the
"COMEX" logo is printed on the dial.
Originally it was only available to Comex divers,
The number of these items available is extremely low, and they are currently only available at overseas auctions and limited vintage shops.
This is an extremely rare model that you will not see often.
This is the improved model of Ref.5513
, "Ref.5514"

Due to an accident where the windshield was blown off during work,
Rolex, upon receiving the request, began developing a wristwatch that could withstand saturation diving.
And the world's first "helium gas escape valve"
The Submariner "Ref. 5514" was born equipped with this movement.
The Ref. 5514 was made by Rolex exclusively for Comex.
This is a special model with a unique reference number.
The case side is equipped with a helium escape valve at the 9 o'clock position, which is not found on the Ref. 5513.

The certificate was issued in 2001.

It has been overhauled and a certificate of that is included.
The original case is in very good condition.
