Tudor Chronotime Early Model All Tritium
Ref.79160 Serial.B (manufactured around 1991)
Accessories: Box, warranty card (opened on the same date)
SOLD OUT!!

The 791 series Chronotime has a retro feel to it.
This is a chronograph model equipped with the Valjoux 7750 that was produced from around 1989 to the mid-1990s.

This "kamaboko case" is an attractive and popular model.
It is called "Big Block" overseas.
The combination of a kamaboko case with a Rolex crown and case back is rare these days.

There are three types in the lineup: the "Ref. 79160" with a plastic bezel, the "Ref. 79170" with a rotating bezel, and the "Ref. 79180" with a stainless steel bezel. Of these, the plastic bezel is probably the most popular.
The dial is an early model.
The features of the early model are:

The inscription at the 6 o'clock position reads "T SWISS T"

"Trapezoidal index"

"The calendar disc has a frame."
*Although the production period of the later model is shorter than that of the early model, the retro features of the early model are attractive.

This panda dial looks just like the manual winding Daytona! So cool!

The item we received this time was in good condition and came complete with box and warranty.

The Kamaboko Chrono Time "Ref. 79160" with a plastic bezel is a model with an attractive, rugged Kamaboko case.
Above all, I can't get enough of this beautiful face!
The market seems to have calmed down since the temporary surge, but this is a model that will be interesting to watch in the future!
