Submariner "Ref. 5512" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1978
The product we are introducing this time is an early model manufactured around 1961, which is extremely rare.
This is a rare model that combines various rare elements.

"Mirror Dial"
A glossy dial was available on models manufactured up until around 1966.
Among the vintage models that have a beautiful mirror-like shine,
This is a rare dial with extremely limited availability.

This particular dial is one of the earliest mirror dials,
A track-shaped minute circle is printed along the outer edge of the dial.
It is called a "chapter ring," "circle mirror," or "MM dial."
This is a mirror dial made up until around 1963.
Although the entire dial has some age-specific deterioration,
It still retains its luster, giving it an outstanding tropical look .

Furthermore, if you look closely at this specimen, you will see that under the OYSTR PERPETUAL notation
There is a thin "━" called an underline .
It was one of the first to use tritium.
It is said to be a dial that indicates that radioactive materials are below the specified standard.
The luminous material is all tritium,
There is some loss of luminous index,
The condition is good.

It is a chronometer and the notation at 6 o'clock is
Proof that it meets COSC-certified chronometer specifications
"200m=660ft / SUBMARINER / SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER /
It has four lines saying "OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED" .
The bottom two lines are in silver letters.
This dial is also known as "gilt and silver."
This combination of gold and silver is
It's incredibly cool and I highly recommend you see it in person!!

The bezel insert is a long 5 and has an exquisite fade.
The bezel insert alone is worth it!

The condition is of course age-appropriate and there are scratches from use,
The overall condition is very good.

What do you think of this thick middle case?

The rug has thick legs and sharp edges that make it very impressive!

Pointed Crown Guard (PCG)
The crown guard, also known as the "crown guard," is in excellent condition!

The Swiss rivets from the 4th period of 1962 are in good condition.

It's in great condition with only a little creasing!!

Finally, a wrist shot!!
The faded bezel and tropical mirror are a perfect match for this exquisite piece!

Rare! Vintage Submariner "Ref. 5512"
This is a wonderful piece that embodies all the charm of the early model!
The combination of an MM dial and underline is definitely rare!
It's hard to find a model like this!!
