The first Submariner Date/Ref.1680.
The famous red Submariner is the first model of this model.
Currently, the market price is relatively stable, so this is probably an affordable model.
This watch has not been finished on the exterior, so there are small scratches all over, but the dial is in excellent condition.
The dial is in good condition overall, and is in such good condition that it is hard to believe that it was produced about 40 years ago .
The luminous material on both the hands and dial is all-tritium, and the hands and indexes have turned a beautiful cream color.
The hands have deteriorated slightly due to their age, but this is a watch that still has the charm that only a vintage piece can have.
The dial is type 2.
The calendar disc has a silver base.
It comes with a vintage grooveless hard bracelet 93150.
The clasp code is "B" , which also matches the era.
The 1680's thick plastic windshield is incredibly cool no matter how many times you look at it!
The first Submariner Date "Ref. 1680" has a great atmosphere. The dial condition is excellent, and the beautifully burnt tritium makes this an attractive piece that we highly recommend!
