The first Sea-Dweller "Ref.1665"
This model was created in 1967 in partnership with the underwater research company COMEX.

This is one of the early models
"SEA-DWELLER" and "SUBMARINER 2000"
This model is commonly known as the Red Seed as it is printed in red.
This is also known as "DRSD" (Double Red Seed Error) .
Akaseed was produced for about 10 years until around 1977.
This is a rare model that is much less available than the red Sub.

If you include the prototype model MK0, you can go up to MK4.
Red Sea-Dwellers are classified into five types.
This is the MK4 with the final Red Seed dial.
The MK4 is characterized by slightly faded printing and a large crown and ROLEX logo.

The back cover is decorated with the Red Seed's characteristic "straight logo" .
The serial number is engraved on the inside.
The MK4 dial has two types of back cover: a straight logo and a round logo.
This is serial number 40, so it has a straight logo.

The dial condition is excellent,
The hands, indexes and tritium luminous material have changed to a beautiful cream color.

Another attractive feature of this particular model is the bezel insert.
There is a beautiful gradation from the inner circumference to the outer circumference.
This level of fading can be described as just perfect!!
Very cool!!
*The luminous points appear to be aftermarket, but the atmosphere is not detracted from.

Although it is a little out of date for a bezel insert from around 1975,
The fat font insert in Kissing 4 is actually worth it!
"Kissing 4" An early fat font.
It is called "Kissing 4" because the number 4 and 0 in 40 are stuck together.

The middle case also looks good.
The case is thick and sturdy.

This is a good specimen with clearly visible edge lines on the lug feet.

As you can see the case side is in good condition!!
The thick bezel is rugged and cool!

A bracelet with a matching clasp code of "A"
There is some wrinkling, but it fits perfectly when you put it on your arm!!

Wrist shot!!
It's so cool!!
The Kissing 4 bezel insert and the neat and beautiful face are very attractive!!

Old Red Sea-Dweller "Ref.1665/MK4"
It leaves a very good impression when you hold it, and is a great item that you will think is simply cool!!
It's rare to come across one in such good condition!
If you are looking for a DRSD, please consider this one!
