First generation Sea-Dweller "Ref.1665"
This model was created in 1967 in collaboration with the diving research company COMEX!

Among them, early models feature "SEA-DWELLER" and "SUBMARINER 2000" printed in red, commonly known as the /Red Sea-Dweller.
It is also known as "DRSD" (Double Red Sea-Dweller).
The Red Sea-Dweller was produced for about 10 years until around 1977,
but it is a rare model, significantly less common than the Red Submariner.

Including the prototype model MK0, there are 5 types of Red Sea-Dweller up to MK4.
This is the MK4, the final dial of the Red Sea-Dweller.
The MK4 is characterized by slightly blurred printing and a large crown & ROLEX logo.

The case back features the characteristic Red Sea-Dweller "straight logo",
with the serial number engraved on the inside.
MK4 dials have two types of case backs: straight logo and round logo.
This one has a straight logo because its serial number is in the 40s.

The dial condition is excellent,
and the tritium luminous material on the hands and indices has beautifully changed to a cream color.

The charm of this particular piece also lies in its bezel insert.
It has a beautiful gradient from the inner to the outer circumference.
This degree of fading is truly exquisite, isn't it?!
It's incredibly cool!
*The luminous point appears to be aftermarket, but it doesn't detract from the overall aesthetic.

Although the bezel insert from around '75 is slightly off-period,
the "Kissing 4" fat font insert is actually valuable!!
"Kissing 4" the earliest fat font.
It's called "Kissing 4" because the 4 and 0 of "40" touch.

The middle case also has a good impression,
and the case is thick and solid.

The lugs also show clear edge lines, indicating a good condition.

The case side is in good condition, as you can see!!
The thick bezel is rugged and cool!!

The bracelet with clasp code "A," which matches the era,
has some looseness, but it fits perfectly on the wrist!!

Wrist shot!!
So cool!!
The Kissing 4 bezel insert and the well-maintained, beautiful face are captivating!!

Old Red Sea-Dweller "Ref.1665/MK4"
This is an excellent piece that makes a great impression when held, truly cool!!
Such good condition pieces are rarely seen!
Customers looking for a DRSD, please consider this one!
