Today we are introducing the Datejust "Thunderbird" Ref. 16263 with a rotating bezel!
The nickname "Thunderbird" comes from the captain of the U.S. Air Force's acrobatic team, the Thunderbirds.
It was specially ordered as a model to commemorate Colonel Don Ferris' retirement.
This model comes in a wide variety of dial colors, including champagne, black, gray, white, blue, and ivory pyramid.
Since Thunderbird itself is less available than before,
These days, it has become difficult to choose the dial color of your choice.
The black dial we are introducing this time is no exception.
It's been a while since I last handled it, and that's my impression too.
