The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1960 to around 1989
During the long manufacturing period, various specification changes have been made.
This is a long-selling vintage Explorer.
It's a popular model with a cool, complete design that fits comfortably on the wrist.
This is a high-year model manufactured around 1983.
The dial is a later type with a sharp impression.
The hands are thought to have been changed in later years, but are all tritium.
The product we are introducing this time (left) has a tritium dial that has been beautifully burnished.
It's a specimen with an outstanding atmosphere.
Recommended for those looking for a Ref. 1016 with a burnt finish.
The overall condition is good with some small scratches from use, but no major scratches and in good condition.

The case is not thin and has sharp edges!
There is almost no sagging of the bracelet.
*The clasp code matches the era.
*There is a scratch on the fourth link on the 6 o'clock side of the bracelet.
