It was introduced around 1970 and production ended after just one year.
The second generation short-lived hand-wound Daytona "Ref. 6262"
The bezel is made of stainless steel, just like the first generation "Ref. 6239".
This model features a tachymeter bezel.
As it is a non-Oyster model, the design is different from the first Daytona Ref. 6239.
There are no major differences, but the movement has been upgraded to 21,600 vibrations per hour.
It is equipped with the masterpiece manual winding chronograph movement "Cal. 727".
The model that has been put on sale this time is a hand-wound Daytona.

the "Paul Newman" dial, which is considered a rare dial.
"Paul Newman Dial"
This rare dial features an exotic dial.
It is called the Paul Newman dial because Paul Newman loved it.
The in-dial/bar-type index has a square dot at the tip.
The dial is lowered by one step to the outer periphery, and has the same three-dimensional dots as the square dots on the in-dial.
