The stainless steel tachymeter bezel was introduced in 1963.
The first Daytona "Ref. 6239"
The non-oyster model features a non-screw-in bump pusher.
This is the model that is being called.
This model is in good overall condition.
This is a highly recommended item with a well-matched dial, bezel, and hands.
The 12 o'clock side features a large "DAYTONA" logo.
Among the many dial variations of the Ref. 6239
This dial is commonly seen in serial numbers 15-16.
It matches the age of this specimen.
For a 1960s watch, the dial is in good condition.
The uncorrected tritium luminaire has also been nicely tarnished.
The chronograph hand is also an original equilateral triangle hand.
The bezel is known as the "300 Taki" bezel, which is compatible with speeds up to 300km/h.
This one was also equipped with a rare early model bezel.
The popular black dial is very cool.
