New GMT Master II "Ref.126710BLRO" announced in 2018
*BLRO means Bleu (blue) and Rouge (red) in French.
The blue and red bezel of the SS model is from the old "Ref.16710" model, which was discontinued
After about 10 years, this model has been revived with a ceramic bezel and Jubilee bracelet.
The BLRO that departed this time was from one of the earliest batches.
As you probably already know, the bezels of the early batches are very light in color and difficult to describe.
It creates an exquisite atmosphere. The MK1 bezel has been gaining popularity lately.
This early bezel is available in several different colors.
I have compared several pieces made up until around October 2018, and have already identified four different bezel colors.
In particular, I recognize the bezel with the lightest color as the MK1.
And this MK1 bezel is actually missing.
Here is a comparison photo with the 2020 BLRO.
The one on the left is MK1.
When you compare them like this, the colors are completely different.
The initial lot has lighter colors in both blue and red.
The blue part is a beautiful lavender color and the red part is a cherry blossom pink.
It's a very beautiful color.
The item you purchased this time was stamped May 2018.
Incidentally, we have also confirmed the MK1 stamped August 2018.
We have not yet confirmed any subsequent MK1s.

It was an early model with an attractive bezel in a beautiful color, and it's hard to find if you look for it.
