SOLD OUT!!
The first Submariner Date/Ref.1680.
This was manufactured from 1969 to 1976.
This is the early model with the SUBMARINER logo in red, commonly known as the " Red Sub ."
The dial is MARK4.
The horizontal bars of the "f" and "t" in the waterproof rating of 660ft are not on the same line, and the dial is characterized by an open 6.
The MK4 dial is one of the more common dials among red subs.
If you look closely, you'll see that the Submariner markings are painted in red over white.
The dial features a distinctive "punch-flap" red font .
The dial condition of this particular piece is very good, and the tritium on the hands and indexes has tanned evenly.
While many of these watches have damaged dials, it is rare to find one in such good condition.
The bezel insert has few scratches and has faded nicely.
The bezel with the exquisite color and fat font is really cool!!
Overall, it is a well-balanced item and I highly recommend it.
*The luminous points are Luminova, but the atmosphere is not compromised.
The condition is good, with some wear on the case and some creasing on the bracelet, but no major scratches.
Wrist shot!!
This is a vintage Submariner!!
This is a masterpiece with an outstanding atmosphere!
Hard-to-find model, the red Submariner "Ref.1680/MK4"
This is an attractive and recommended item with a beautifully faded gray bezel and clean dial condition!
If you are looking for a red Submariner in good condition, please consider this one.
