Cal.1570 Case back (III69) Winding bracelet 9315/FF380
Accessories: Box (later)
The first Submariner with date/Ref.1680.
This was manufactured from 1969 to 1976.
The early model with the SUBMARINER logo in red,
It is commonly known as the Red Sub .
The item we have in stock this time is a rare model among red Submariners.
Meter first.
The 200m marking comes first, commonly known as " meter first"
This is an early model with a matte dial.
The Meter First was produced from 1969 to 1970.
The red Submariner is a meter-first model.
They are classified from MK1 to MK3 .
Furthermore, even with the already difficult to obtain Meter First
The model that is said to be the hardest to obtain is
This is the earliest dial , "MK1" .
The features of the MK1 dial are:
The Submariner logo is wider than the waterproof label,
It is a "Close 6" of 660ft and a "Long F" with a long upper part of the F.
This particular model has a faded "long 5" bezel that is light gray.
Evenly-distributed tritium luminous
This is an incredibly cool model!
The dial condition is also good for a 1969 model.
I was surprised because it is such a good specimen.
It is a beautiful dial that appears slightly brown depending on how the light hits it.
The condition of the needles also seems to be in very good condition.
The case and bracelet have some small scratches appropriate for the age of the watch.
There are no major scratches.
The case is also in good condition and doesn't feel overly thin.
9315/Wrap bracelet (FF380) is wrinkled,
It is relatively sturdy.
Wrist shot!!
This is a great piece with a ghost faded bezel and a beautiful dial!
It's cool!!
Hard to find model, early Meter First/Red Submariner "MK1"
You won't come across such an individual.
