Designed by Gerald Genta The Nautilus, a symbol of sports elegance, was born in 1976. This model features an octagonal bezel with a porthole motif. This is a 38mm case/Ref. 3800 manufactured from 1982 to 2005. This is a solid K18 yellow gold model. The 38mm size is perfect, not too big and not too small. It is said that this size fits easily on Japanese arms! The dial is a champagne dial. The combination of the K18YG case and champagne dial is very sophisticated and elegant. The date is a later version with black letters on a white background. The luminous material is all tritium .

The buckle is a medium/perforated single clasp. *Early period: Plate single clasp ⇒ Mid-period: Hollow single clasp ⇒ Late period: Double clasp

The caliber is a minor change to the ultra-thin automatic movement "330SC" with 21,600 vibrations. *Changed from 335SC (28,800 vibrations) to 330SC (21,600 vibrations). The case is about 8mm thick, which is very thin and comfortable to wear.
