Second generation GMT Master combination model "Ref.1675/3 Root Beer"

This is the first model of the GMT-Master combination, produced from the late 1960s to around 1979.

Starting with the first combination model (brown dial), the popular brown and gold two-tone bezel has been adopted.

This model (brown/golden) is called Root Beer overseas.
Although it is called beer, it is not beer, but a non-alcoholic spicy carbonated drink that is popular in the United States .
The cans seem to be similar in color.

By the way, the Ref. 1675/3 Root Beer is made of 18K gold with an applied crown mark, while the Ref. 16753 Root Beer has the crown mark printed on it.

The dial of the Ref. 1675/3 is a matte dial, while the dial of the Ref. 16753 is a glossy dial.

The most distinctive feature of this model is the barnacle dial .

"Barnacles"

The spire-shaped upright indexes found on GMT Masters and Submariners manufactured from the 1960s through to the 1980s.
It is commonly called the "barnacle dial" because it looks like a barnacle on a shell.
Overseas, it is also called "nipple dial."

This particular watch has evenly-burned tritium on the hands and indexes, giving it a very good impression.
The dial condition is also good.

The US Jubilee is a bracelet that features oval solid links, each of which is large and has a strong presence.

It is an antique so there are some scratches from use, but the case itself is in good condition!

The bezel has been replaced with a brown gold bezel later, but is in good condition.
