Hello!
This is Kaneko from Commit Ginza!
Today we would like to introduce a customer's personal watch.
Submariner "Ref.5513" Maxi Mark I Pre COMEX Dial
Maxi dials with large index dots appeared from the late 1970s to the early 1980s.
The "Pre COMEX dial" is made by Stern, the same company that makes COMEX, and is an extremely rare model found in Ref. 5513s manufactured around 1977.
The inscription at the 6 o'clock position reads "660ft=200m" on the top line and "SUBMARINER" on the bottom line.
This model features a chunky vintage-style crown logo at the 12 o'clock position.
When you look at it like this, it's a very cute crown mark !!
The owner had been looking for this dial at the time and was lucky to find it at the right time.
Well then!!
This particular watch has beautifully tanned hands and dial, and a faded gray bezel with "Fat Font" that brings out the old-fashioned feel. It's a wonderful piece!
The impressive maxi dial is really cool!
The case also had sturdy lugs and was in great shape !!
It's hard to find a good one like this nowadays...
The old Submariner "Ref. 5513 Pre Comex" has a rare dial that is hard to come by, but with a beautifully cream-colored all-tritium dial, faded bezel, and sharp-edged case, this is a vintage Rolex full of charm!
Thank you for letting us see this wonderful model!
We look forward to seeing you again!!
