SOLD OUT!!

The "Pre-Daytona," as it's commonly known, a predecessor model to the Daytona, featuring a triple-register chronograph, the Ref. 6238, has arrived!
The Ref. 6238 is a 36mm chronograph manufactured from around 1962 to 1968. Its distinguishing features are its non-contrasting sub-dials and the tachymeter printed on the outer edge of the dial.

Dial colors typically include silver, black, and gray (gunmetal). Among these, the black dial is exceptionally rare due to its limited production, making it a highly sought-after and expensive model in the market.

This arrival features a silver dial.
While this is the most common color for the 6238, it's quite rare to find a silver dial in good condition.
Later Daytonas feature a "tachymeter" engraved on the bezel for measuring speed, but
the Ref. 6238 uses a mirror-polished smooth bezel.
The tachymeter is printed on the outer circumference of the dial (inner track), giving it a distinct and cool atmosphere compared to the manual-wind Daytona.
The design with the scales from 220 to 85 inverted inwards also adds a nice touch.
This particular piece boasts an extremely attractive dial in excellent condition.
While there are minor age-related imperfections visible only under magnification, the overall condition remains remarkably pristine!
It's rare to come across a silver dial in such excellent condition.

The lume on the indexes is also in perfect condition with no loss. This is another very strong point!

The luminous material is all tritium. The condition of the hand luminous is also good.

Despite some minor scratches and scuffs from use, the overall condition of this piece is excellent.
It has also been overhauled by our affiliated workshop.

The mid-case is thick, and the plump form characteristic of the Ref. 6238 remains intact.
Given that many cases tend to be thin, such a solid case is rare!

The bracelet is a 7205 rivet bracelet.

The clasp engraving dates to the first quarter of 1966, so the consistency is maintained.

The end links are the extremely rare "71" type!

It's in excellent condition with minimal stretch. This bracelet is definitely rare!

It has a great look.
This is a rare piece that you should definitely see in person!

Wrist shot! Super cool! Enjoy this top-condition Pre-Daytona!
Pre-Daytona "Ref. 6238 / 1965 All Tritium"
This is an exceptionally cool piece with a classic feel!
The dial, luminous material, case, and bracelet are all in superb condition,
and it's rare to find such a special example of the Ref. 6238!
Compared to the manual-wind Daytona, the price is still more affordable, making it highly recommended.
This is a fantastic and rare piece that doesn't come in often,
so if you're looking for a Pre-Daytona with an emphasis on individual condition, please consider it!
