The model "Ref. 5130R" was released at Baselworld in 2006 and features the Apple Hand that was used in the first World Time model.
Production ended in 2016. The case size has increased by 2.5mm from the previous model "Ref.5110" to 39.5mm, providing more space for the city disc and improving visibility.
By the way, the current model, Ref. 5230, has a case size of 38.5 mm.
The caliber is equipped with the world time movement "Cal.240HU", which displays the time in 24 major cities around the world.
This automatic caliber uses a 22-karat gold micro-rotor and boasts high winding efficiency.
The world time function is a great feature that allows you to see the time in major cities around the world at a glance, in addition to the time in your own country.
It's very easy to operate.
Simply press the push button at 10 o'clock and adjust the city disc at 12 o'clock to the city you are currently in.
By pressing the push button, the city disc on the outer circumference of the dial, the 24-hour disc on the inner circumference, and the hour and minute hands indicating local time (the time in your current location) are instantly operated, allowing you to simultaneously display the local time and the time in 24 cities around the world.
In the photo, the city disc at the 12 o'clock position is set to " TOKYO," so the local time shows morning Japan time.
By the way, you can see at a glance that the time in Paris is 2:00 AM by looking at the outer link at the 8 o'clock position.
Now that I think about it, the world time function is a great feature!
As for the condition of this product, there are some small scratches on the whole product, but it is a very impressive and beautiful item. There is no sign of the case becoming thin.
*I checked with a 10x loupe and could not find any scratches on the glass.
The genuine black crocodile leather strap is also in very good condition with no signs of use.
