The "Ref. 5513" is a long-selling model that was produced for about 27 years.
It's a popular vintage model that is also recommended as an entry-level vintage watch.
The Ref. 5513 underwent various minor changes,
making it a model with a very wide variety of dial variations.
The model we are introducing today features a dial with early characteristics
among the matte, non-serif dials!
"Meter First"
The earliest matte dial, manufactured from around 1967 to 1970, when the dial changed from mirror to matte to suppress light reflection.
It is characterized by the water resistance notation at the 6 o'clock position starting with 200m,
and is commonly known as "Meter First."
All other matte dial Ref. 5513s are feet first.
This particular piece has an excellent dial condition,
maintaining a beautiful state even under a loupe.
This condition is rare for a piece manufactured around 1969.
The beautifully aged tritium luminous material is also very appealing!
The luminous material is all tritium!
The condition of the hand luminous material is also good!
The fat font MK3 insert is also in excellent condition!
This insert is also rare!
Although there are minor scratches from use,
the overall condition is clean for a vintage model!

The lugs are thick and solid, making for a very good impression!

The watch comes with a 7836 single-fold bracelet.
The buckle clasp is stamped 70.1 (first quarter of 1970).
