The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" was manufactured from around 1959 to 1989.
This is a vintage Explorer that underwent various specification changes during its long production period.

This is a very popular vintage model that sells quickly at our store.
The item that arrived this time is an early matte dial manufactured around 1969.

This early matte dial is called "Frog Leg" or "Frog Foot" because the crown mark resembles a frog's foot.
It's a dial characterized by the charming crown mark, unique to vintage models!

This piece has a strong "pumpkin" patina on the hands and indexes,
It is a piece with a wonderful atmosphere that truly says "vintage"!
It's rare to come across a Ref. 1016 with such a strong patina.

The dial condition is maintained in a beautiful state even under a loupe!
Such well-preserved frog foot dials are rare!

As you can see, the index luminous material is also in top condition!!

The clear contrast between the matte black dial and the aged indexes is really cool.

The rust on the hands due to aging looks great! The condition of the luminous material on the hands is also good.

The case and bracelet condition are also good, highly recommended!!

There are minor scratches from use, but the mid-case is in this condition!!

The lug feet are also relatively thick and perfectly shaped!

The bracelet is a rivet bracelet, which has an even stronger vintage feel!

The buckle clasp engraving is 69.3, matching the year!!

It's a rivet bracelet with minimal stretch,
giving a very good impression when held!

Wrist shot!!
This vintage Explorer with its deeply aged tritium is incredibly cool!

A highly popular vintage Explorer "Ref.1016/Pumpkin 69".
This is a rare piece with a frog foot dial where the tritium has an exceptionally beautiful patina!
Well-preserved Ref.1016s like this are becoming scarce, so don't miss out!!
Customers looking for a Ref.1016/frog foot dial with an amazing atmosphere,
Please consider it.
