Daytona "Ref. 16520" equipped with El Primero movement.
16520 is 200 tachometer, 225 tachometer, porcelain, stepped/floating, 4 lines.
With its inverted 6-dial, Patrizzi, brown eye, and A-series and P-series serial numbers, this popular model boasts a collection of unique features that will appeal to collectors.
The model we're introducing today is the very first Ref. 16520/L3, which possesses some fascinating features.
Compared to a little while ago, the overall market price of El Primero is clearly on an upward trend.
It's difficult to determine the market price for the very first models, which are extremely rare,
It seems to be steadily rising beneath the surface!

In this situation, the number of models available on the market will continue to decrease.
If you're looking for this item, we recommend checking it out as soon as possible!
Let's start by introducing the unique features of the initial model!

MK2 bezel "225 tachymeter" bezel
Pay attention to the area between the "200" and "300" markings.
The bezel markings on the MK3 and later models change to only "240".
The MK2 bezel has two markings: "225" and "250".
This is an extremely rare early bezel, commonly known as the "225 Tachymeter."

MK2 dial "4 lines"
The English text, which was displayed in five lines, has had "OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED" removed.
The early dials featured four lines of text.
Like the MK1 dial, this is also a very rare dial that is not often seen on the market.
Personally, I love the "E" in the ROLEX logo ; it looks really cool!

"Inverted 6" dial
The number "6" on the 12-hour counter at the 6 o'clock position is reversed to appear as a "9".
This is an early dial, manufactured up to around the S serial number, and is sometimes called "reverse 6" or "inverted 6".
Due to the characteristics of models up to around the S series, MK1 dials/floating and MK2 dials/4 lines will always have an "inverted 6" pattern.

Single buckle
A single buckle is also an essential feature of the early models.
This particular piece has the clasp code "N9," which perfectly matches the era!

Kamaboko case
The kamaboko-shaped case is also a characteristic of the early models!
Can you see that the early specimens have thicker cases?
The rugged, sturdier look of the kamaboko-shaped case is quite appealing!

The watch shows some scratches from use, but the case and bracelet are in good condition.
This is a recommended specimen that has been kept in relatively good condition.

The middle case, in particular, is thick and in excellent condition, maintaining a superb state.

The lugs are thick, and the edge lines are sharp and defined!
The hairline finish is also in excellent condition.

This cracked case on an early model is really appealing!!

The crisp bracelet is in excellent condition with almost no signs of wear or deformation!
It seems surprisingly rare to find an early model with a bracelet in such good condition.
The dial is in excellent condition, remaining pristine even under magnification.
This early model in this condition is rare.
The luminous hands are all tritium. Early tritium hands are quite rare!

You have a lovely face!
This is a fantastic specimen that makes a great impression when you hold it in your hands!

This particular unit comes with plenty of accessories and is highly recommended!
Box, domestic official warranty card (name not erased), international service warranty card, chronometer certificate.
Daytona booklet (88), Oyster booklet (89), and other official booklets,
We have a pass case and a calendar (88-89) available.

The outer box comes with a reflector sticker and a white circle sticker!!

Wrist shot!! So cool!!
The combination of the instantly recognizable 4-line dial and the understated 225 tachymeter bezel is
This is an exceptionally cool and stylish early El Primero!

MK2 bezel x MK2 dial, El Primero earliest model "Ref. 16520/L3"
Early models with amazing rare features are definitely appealing.
The dial, case, and bracelet are all in excellent overall condition, making this a highly recommended watch!
While the availability of normal single tritium units is also decreasing,
Finding one of these early models with such perfectly matched parts is a rare opportunity!
For customers looking for a rare Daytona equipped with the El Primero movement,
Please consider it.
