The Day-Date is Rolex's flagship model, available only in gold or platinum.
This is the "Ref.18238," the model that first introduced the ability to change the day of the week in addition to the date display.
Compared to the thicker "Kamaboko" (semi-circular) case of the previous "Ref.18038" model,
the case design was updated to be more stylish.
The model we are introducing today features a rare dial that is seldom seen on the market.

This shell dial, which uses only emeralds—the corporate color—for the indices,
