SOLD OUT!!

This time we will introduce a product that is said to have been sold in the UK for a certain period of time.
This is a rare Explorer/Ref. 5500.
There are many remanufactured items and it is difficult to find the original model,
This is a rare model that is becoming more and more rare every year.
This is a popular vintage model that is always available for sale when it arrives at our store, so
If you're looking for it, be sure to check it out!

This model is an Air King/Ref. 5500 with an Explorer dial,
It is characterized by its small size of 34mm.
Compared to the original Ref. 1016 (right), the case size is 2mm different,
Recommended for those who find 1016 a little too big!

The dial is a mirror dial. The gold lettering looks cool.
The evaluation of mirror dials varies greatly depending on their condition,
This individual has a good glossy finish,
It has a shiny mirror dial in excellent condition.

There are some small scratches, but the condition of the mirror is good.
It is no exaggeration to say that it is in top condition.

The index luminous material is also in excellent condition with no missing parts.

The luminous material is all tritium.
Although there is some deterioration due to its age, the flat hands have a nice character to them.

This mirror dial has two rare features, so it's definitely worth checking out!
" Underline"
If you look closely, you will see a thin "━" under the SUPER PRECISION notation.
It is said that this dial indicates that radioactive materials are below the prescribed standard in models that initially adopted tritium.

Furthermore, next to the SWISS markings on this individual,
It is also a rare dial unique to this era, with two T<25 notations.
Our shop has handled two types of Boys Explorers with Double T < 25 in the past,
This letter is located above the minute line,
Upon closer inspection, I noticed that it was a different type of dial with a "-" next to the T.
The 5500/Boys Explorer really has a wide variety of dials.

The condition is good with some scratches from use appropriate for the age, but there are no major scratches and it is an impressive item.

The middle case is solid and not overly finished.

A rivet bracelet is essential for a mirror dial!
The rivets are the rare 6635/extension type.
The buckle clasp is engraved with the 4th period of 1964.

Even so, this particular piece has a nice luster!
Wrist shot!! So cool!
Enjoy this sparkling mirror with top-level gloss!
Boys Explorer "Ref.5500 Underline/Double T <25 64"
Even among the Boys Explorer models that are rarely available, this is a rare mirror dial that combines rare features such as an underline and double T<25!
The mirror dial is in excellent condition and has a great atmosphere, so I highly recommend it.
The overhaul has also been completed at our affiliated workshop!
Customers looking for a special vintage Explorer,
