Hello!

Kaneko from Commit Ginza will introduce you to some attractive watches!
Today we are introducing a very popular and rare model of the hand-wound Daytona!

Rolex Daytona Paul Newman
Ref. 6241 Serial. 23 series (manufactured around 1970)
Manual winding Cal.722-1 extension bracelet
Accessories: Main unit only
SOLD OUT!!

The "Ref. 6241" was the first manual-winding Daytona equipped with a plastic bezel, released around 1967.

It features a non-threaded pump pusher.
This is an early model called Non-Oyster.

The Ref. 6241 with a plastic bezel is a rare model that is rarely available.
The model we are introducing this time has an extremely rare dial that is the envy of enthusiasts.

"Paul Newman Dial"

It features a rare exotic dial,
It is called the Paul Newman dial because it was a favorite of actor and racer Paul Newman.

Other major features of the Paul Newman dial include square dots at the tips of the subdials and bar-type indexes, and the fact that the outer edge of the dial is set one level lower and has three-dimensional cube-shaped indexes that are the same size as the square dots on the subdials.

This unusually designed dial, also known as an exotic dial,
Apparently it wasn't popular when it was released.
Nowadays, it is a rare model that is rarely seen in the domestic market.

Paul Newman has both white and black letters.
The latest arrival is a black lettering that, combined with a plastic bezel, gives a clean impression.

I think people's preferences for white and black dials are divided,
One thing I can say is that they're both cool (lol)

If you look closely at the condition of the dial, you can see some aging stains on the black surface.
The inner dial and the white part on the outer periphery are in relatively good condition.

There is some loss of luminous index material, but this does not detract from the overall look.

The luminous material is all tritium, and the luminous hands and indexes are well balanced.

The chronograph hands, bezel (MK3), and bracelet have been replaced in later years,
Personally, it's very impressive.

There are some scratches from use, but there are no major scratches and the condition is good.

The middle case is also solid and not overly finished.

The bracelet is an extension type.

The breath condition is good.

Wrist shot!! So cool!
No matter when you look at it, it gives off a divine aura!!

First-generation manual-wound Daytona/black pole "Ref. 6241/70"
This is a rare model that is rarely available for sale!
The dial has some aging, but it has a great atmosphere and is highly recommended!
The selling price is also very attractive, so don't miss out!
If you are looking for a Paul Newman, please consider this!
