The third generation of manual-winding Daytona "Ref. 6263" was manufactured from around 1969 to around 1988.
This is a very popular manual-winding Daytona model with an attractive plastic bezel.

This particular watch is from around 1971-72, with serial number 28.

The third generation of manual-winding Daytonas had a long production period and a wide variety of dials,
but the watch we are introducing today has a non-labeled dial, meaning there is no "Daytona" inscription above the 12-hour sub-dial.

The Big Red is also cool,
but the non-labeled dial is also a very popular early dial.

Furthermore, among the non-labeled dials, this particular watch is a "MK1," the very first dial
that does not have the "σ" notation.
MK1 dials are rare and highly sought after among Ref.6263/5 models!

And the biggest feature of this particular piece is that its sub-dials have changed to a beautiful brown due to aging,making it a tropical dial!

This beautiful tropical change is irresistible.

It's rare to come across a manual-winding Daytona with such a strong tropical change.

What a beautiful color. You definitely have to see it in person!

The dial is in good condition, with only minor damage at the outer edge that is not visible to the naked eye; the silver dial surface is clean.

The luminous material is all tritium.

Although there are some missing luminous dots on the indexes and some unfortunate repairs to the luminous material,
the rest of the luminous material remains intact.

The chrono hands were replaced in later years.

The bezel has been replaced with a service bezel.
There are minor scratches, but it is in good condition.

The pushers are groove-less MK2 pushers.
These are also rare pushers!

While there are overall signs of use,
there are no major scratches and the condition is good.

The mid-case shows some signs of polishing,
but it is still solid.

The bracelet is a 7205/rivet bracelet.

There are some natural stretches, but the condition is good.

*The buckle has been replaced in later years.

It comes with a full set of accessories!
Box (with reference seal), warranty card (domestic official), serial tag, chronometer tag,
repair warranty, other manufacturer repair details, original buckle (with cracks), and extra links are all included.

The fact that it comes with a box with a reference sticker is appealing, but

the fact that it comes with a warranty card is a major plus!
