The first-generation Explorer II "Ref.1655" was manufactured from around 1971 to 1983.
It is a very popular model with a retro atmosphere unique to vintage models.

This time, we are introducing a piece manufactured around 1977.
The dial is a "MK4 dial" which matches the year.
The lettering is very similar to the MK5 dial,
but the characteristic is that the "O" in "OYSTER" is oval!
The MK4 dial is a rare dial that is surprisingly hard to find.

The dial condition is good,
maintaining a clean state at the loupe level.
The luminous material on the index also remains in excellent condition with no missing parts!
The burn on the luminous material also looks good.
From the MK4 dial, it became T SWISS<25 T.

The luminous material is all tritium.
There are cracks in the luminous material of the hands at the loupe level,
but the condition is good.

The bezel is MK3, which fits the MK4 dial.
Compared to MK1 and MK2, the characteristic is that the upper part of the number "2" is gentler!
It is a rare bezel with a short manufacturing period.
Since it is a part that determines the face, the bezel condition is a very important point,
but this individual is in a crisp and wonderful condition!

The case and bracelet also have scratches and minor scuffs from use,
but there are no major scratches and they are in good condition!

The middle case is in this condition!
It is a wonderful case, thick and solid!

The powerful lugs are thick and solid!

The edge lines are also in wonderful condition!!
The fine hairline finish is also nice!
There is no sagging around the side holes either!!

The clasp code "VB" on the bracelet matches the year!
*The end links have been replaced in a later year.

The crisp bracelet shows almost no slack
and is in top condition!

This wonderful model with its retro atmosphere is irresistible!!

Wrist shot!!
This is a prime example!! Please enjoy the powerful, sharp case!

First-generation Explorer II "Ref.1655/MK4 x MK3"
This is a prime example that maintains superb condition of the case, dial, bezel, and bracelet!
The tritium luminous material has also beautifully creamed, giving it an outstanding atmosphere!!
Customers looking for a vintage Explorer II with the right conditions,
please consider it.
