The first Submariner Date/Ref.1680.
The early model with the red SUBMARINER logo was manufactured from 1969 to 1975.
It is commonly known as the Red Sub .
This is a classic model that is extremely popular among vintage models.
The one we are introducing this time is a recommended item with well-matched parts!

The dial is MK5.
The horizontal bars of the "f" and "t" in the waterproof rating of 660ft are aligned, and the dial is characterized by an open 6.
The Red Sub has a wide variety of dial variations, but they can be broadly divided into
MK1 to MK3 are meter first ( 200m = 660ft ),
From MK4 to MK6, the scale is feet first ( 660ft = 200m ).
The dial has some deterioration due to ageing, as seen through a magnifying glass.
It is kept in relatively good condition.
The tritium luminous index is also in excellent condition overall.
The condition of the luminous hands is also good!!
There is a very natural deterioration due to aging,
It is in good condition with no noticeable cracks.
Another attractive feature is the fat font MK3 bezel.
This insert is a big plus.
This is a cool insert with a slightly faded look.

The case and bracelet have some scratches from use, but are in good condition.
As you can see, the middle case is thick and sturdy.

The bracelet is equipped with a winding bracelet, which is indispensable for red Subs of this era .
The buckle clasp is engraved with the 72.3 period.
The bracelet is slightly worn out, but it is suitable for the age.
