The first Submariner with date/Ref.1680.
This was manufactured from 1969 to 1975.
The early model with the SUBMARINER logo in red,
It is commonly known as the Red Sub .
The item we have in stock this time is a rare red Submariner model.
"Meter first."
The 200m marking comes first, commonly known as "meter first"
This is an early model with a matte dial.
The Meter First was produced from 1969 to 1970.
The Red Submariner is classified into meter first models from MK1 to MK3.
This time we will introduce the second dial, "MK2".
The MK2 dial has the characteristic of "660ft" "Open 6" and is not as unique as the MK1,
It is characterized by a “long f” with a long top part.
We recently received the Red Sub MK3/Tropical.
The Meter First red sub was manufactured for only about a year,
It's hard to find.
The dial condition is good,
There is some minor, barely noticeable damage on the outer periphery.
Overall, it is in good condition.
The index luminous material is also in good condition.
The bezel is a fat font MK3 bezel.
MK3 inserts with such a beautiful gradient fade are rare!
It is equipped with an insert that has a very nice atmosphere.

The case and bracelet are sturdy and well made.

The middle case is in the condition you see!
There is no excessive polish!
The bracelet is 9315/wound bracelet (FF280).
Buckle clasp code is 3rd period of 1970.
There is some natural wear, but the condition is good.
The chimney-shaped plastic windshield also looks great!!
Wrist shot!!
This Red Sub MK2 creates a wonderful atmosphere!!
Vintage Submariner - Representative Model/Red Submariner "MK2"
I have the impression that the early red subs are less common these days than they used to be.
In particular, it is quite hard to find an MK2 dial in such good condition!
The overhaul has also been completed at our affiliated workshop!
Customers looking for a rare vintage Submariner with a great atmosphere,
Please consider this.
