"Ref.5513" is a long-selling model with a production period of approximately 27 years.
This model has undergone various minor changes and has a wide range of dial variations.
This time we are introducing a matte dial that has been around since 1967.
One of these is the so-called "maxi dial" that appeared in the late 1970s.
This maxi dial (made by Lemrich) is marked with SUB.
Among maxi dials, this is a rare dial with relatively large dots and is highly sought after.
Its distinctive features include a slim crown mark and the fact that the horizontal bars of the letters f and t are on the same line in Open6.
The dial condition is excellent,
It is in good condition even when viewed through a magnifying glass.
The maxi dial is originally a beautiful luminous dial with little fading,
The index of this unit is also in very good condition!
The large dot luminous material changes to a light cream color and is very impressive.
This dial gives off a vintage charm.
There is a slight crack on the hour hand when you look closely with a magnifying glass,
The atmosphere is not spoiled at all.
The bezel insert is also a nice touch.
The MK3 insert has a nicely faded fat font and is in good condition with only minor scratches.
MK3 inserts with such beautiful colors are rare!
You have a good look!!
The case and bracelet are in good condition.
Overall it is in good condition for a 1977-78 model.
The case is not overly thin, and the lugs are thick and sturdy.
It will be a very impressive specimen!
The grooveless hard bracelet has a clasp code "VC" which matches the era!
There is only a little bit of creasing, but the breathability is good!
Wrist shot!!
Be sure to check out this beautiful dial!
Vintage Submariner Ref.5513/77-78
Ref.5513/The MK1 dial made by Lemlich is one of the most popular rimless dials.
Overall, it's a well-balanced product that I highly recommend!
Above all, the bezel has a beautiful color and the dial is in excellent condition, so if you're interested, be sure to check it out!
It is likely that Lemurich specimens that remain in such beautiful condition will become increasingly rare in the future!
