The serial number is a later model year R number (manufactured around 1987). R and L numbers are popular model years that were nearing the end of production! The latest " 5-type dial" The condition was excellent! However, this particular one, in addition to the dial condition, The case condition was also kept in very good condition! It is rare to find a specimen in such good overall condition. He looked so cool wearing such a great model !! This vintage Explorer "Ref. 1016" is in good condition with a tritium dial and a crisp case, making it an attractive, high-year model!
