The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1990
The one we are introducing today is an R-number 1016, a later model year model.
The R series, which is nearing the end of production, is always a popular item in our store and moves quickly!

The dial is period appropriate with a sharp logo.

The matte black dial shows some minor signs of aging,
Overall, it is in good condition.

The condition of the needle luminous is also good.
It's in great condition with no cracks visible!

The rarity of this individual is,
It's a "tip dot second hand" with a luminous dot on the outside!!
The second hand is mainly seen in semi-vintage models,

It also exists in the Ref.1016.
We have handled a few of these in our store in the past.

Here is a comparison photo with the same R-numbered model. Pay attention to the second hand at the 12 o'clock position.
