No. 1941 ~ A beautiful dial condition! Early matte Meters First!! Introducing the Rolex Submariner 5513 from 1969!

The Ref. 5513 is a long-selling model with a production period of approximately 27 years.

It is a model that underwent various minor changes,
resulting in a very wide variety of dial variations.

The model we are introducing today features a dial with the early characteristics
of the non-serif matte dial! 

"Meter First"
These were the earliest matte dials produced from around 1967 to 1970, following the transition from mirror dials to matte dials to reduce light reflection.

It is known as the "Meter First" because the water resistance rating at the 6 o'clock position starts with 200m. 

All other matte dial Ref. 5513s, besides this one, are "Feet First."

This particular unit is in excellent dial condition,
maintained to a beautiful state even at the loupe level.
For a piece manufactured around 1969, this condition is quite rare.

The luminous indices have also aged beautifully, adding to its atmosphere.

It is a flavorful dial that even appears to have a slight brown hue.

The lume on the hands has a slightly darker color on the minute hand and shows some nice oxidation, allowing you to enjoy the aging unique to vintage models. 

The MK3 insert shows minor chips when looked at closely, but it has faded beautifully and looks great!

※ The luminous material on the pearl has been repaired.

As for its condition, there are some scuffs and scratches from use, and some signs of polishing on the case.

Because it is a vintage model, there are some scratches and thinning of the case, but surprisingly, its atmosphere remains intact.

It is also equipped with the riveted bracelet that perfectly captures that vintage feel. 

The clasp hallmark is from the first quarter of 1968. 

There is some natural stretch,

But it fits perfectly when worn on the wrist!
When you look closely, this is a piece with an exceptional atmosphere, highlighted by its subtle brown dial!
