The Day-Date is Rolex's highest-end model, available only in gold and platinum.

Compared to the previous model/Ref.1803,
The windshield has been changed from plastic to sapphire crystal.
This is the "Ref. 18038" which is equipped with a quick date change function.

There are many variations of wood dials,
The watch we are introducing this time uses birch wood for the dial.
It has a rare wood dial , "birch."

Birch wood is brighter in color than other materials,
It features a beautiful glossy wood grain.
The white speckled pattern is fine and resistant to wear. 

The natural wood dials are all unique,
Each and every piece has a different expression.

The individual that arrived this time is attractive with its bright color and smooth texture ,
It is a very beautiful dial with a well-balanced wood grain.

Looking at it up close you can enjoy the vivid patterns that are unique to natural materials.

Our staff member, Sek, also known as Setchan, was reminded of the texture of a lion's fur.
I thought, "Setsuchan, that's true!" just between you and me.

The letters are blackletter.
The beautifully coated glossy wood dial with black lettering is very sophisticated and cool.

Personally, what I like about the wooden dial is the long minute line and the tasteful applied indexes!

The dial condition is very good,
It is in good condition with no noticeable scratches!

The hands are luminous with tritium, and the luminous condition is good.

The condition is that there are small scratches due to use,
This is an excellent specimen that has been kept in excellent condition!

As you can see, the middle case is in good condition with no excessive finishing!

The lug legs are very stiff with sharp edge lines.
The hairline is also in very good condition!

The bezel peaks also have sharp edges!

The bracelet (full links) matches the era and is in good condition with only very slight creasing!

I have the impression that many of the wood dial watches have wrinkled bracelets,
