The first Explorer II "Ref.1655" manufactured from around 1971 to 1983
It is a very popular model with a retro atmosphere unique to vintage models.
There are 5 types of dial variations for Ref.1655, from MK1 to MK5 (excluding service dials),
but the one we are introducing today is the rarest early MK1 dial.
The small crown mark is a distinctive feature!
Many MK1 dials tend to have noticeable stains and scratches,
but this particular watch is in very clean condition under a loupe.

The second hand is a "straight hand" without a luminous dot.
With this hand,
the early model's atmosphere is enhanced, making it even cooler.
An important point:
The luminous condition of both the hands and indexes
has changed beautifully to a cream color and is in excellent condition.
The bezel is an MK2 bezel that matches the age of the watch.
The Ref.1655 is a model that fully exudes the vintage atmosphere
and this retro bezel is also attractive, isn't it?
The bezel is also in excellent condition with sharp edge lines,
making it a very impressive piece!

The condition has overall signs of use, but
it's in good condition for a vintage model.

As you can see, the middle case is thick and solid.
The lugs are also in good condition.
A folded bracelet is also an essential point for 1655/early models.
The buckle clasp is engraved 72-1.

The bracelet, which matches the age, is in very good and solid condition!
Wrist shot!! It looks great~!!
The distinctive straight hand of the early model is irresistible!!
The first Explorer II "Ref.1655 MK1MK2 '72 All Tritium"
is a rare piece with a wonderful dial and luminous condition!
A MK1 dial in such beautiful condition is rarely available,
so we recommend it to those who are particular about the dial condition of early models!
Customers looking for a consistent 1655/MK1 dial,
please consider it.
