SOLD OUT!!
The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1990
During the long manufacturing period, various changes were made to the specifications.
It's a vintage Explorer.
The latest arrival is an early model with a circle mirror dial, which is rare.
This particular dial is one of the earliest mirror dials.
A track-shaped minute circle is printed along the outer edge of the dial.
They are called "chapter ring," "circle mirror," and "MM dial."
This is a mirror dial made up until around 1963.
I have the impression that mirror dials are becoming less common these days.
Among them, the circle mirror is a rare dial that is rarely available in our store.
This dial is commonly known as the "6-dot" It is said that
This is a rare dial that features a circular luminous element on the minute circle at the 6 o'clock position.
When you look at the luminous points together with the bar indexes,
It is also called the exclamation dial because it resembles an exclamation mark .
It is said that this dial was one of the early adopters of tritium, and has a reduced radium content and uses tritium in addition to the original.
There are a lot of individual differences in the condition of the dials of mirror dials.
Furthermore, when it comes to MM dials, the glossiness is inevitably lost,
I get the impression that many of them are deteriorated.
This item has some small scratches and dullness,
We recommend this watch with its mirror dial that still retains a glossy finish.
The index luminous material remains beautiful overall.
This individual has a very impressive face.
*The needle luminous material has been corrected, and the second hand is different from the model,
The atmosphere hasn't been compromised at all.
Another point worth noting is this letter.
The gold lettering has an exquisite gradation aging.
It creates a unique and wonderful atmosphere.
This is vintage!!
This aging is so cool!!
The condition is age-appropriate with some scratches,
This is a solid piece for one manufactured around 1961!
The case is in good condition and has no excessive finishing!
The edges of the rug feet are firm!
The bracelet condition is that it is fitted with a later winding bracelet.
There is some creasing.
Wrist shot!!
This is a really cool piece with a glossy mirror dial and gradation letters!!
