SOLD OUT!!

The fourth-generation Submariner "Ref. 5513" is a long-selling model with a production period of approximately 27 years.
This model was released around 1963 as a Diffusion model that was not certified as a chronometer, as opposed to the chronometer-spec "Ref. 5512."
This model has undergone various minor changes and is extremely popular among vintage Rolexes, but this time we have a model that was produced early on.
It has a glossy finish known as a "gilt dial."

"Gilt (mirror) dial"
A glossy dial was available on models manufactured up until around 1967.
Among the vintage models that have a beautiful mirror-like shine,
This is a rare dial with extremely limited availability.
The stepped gold lettering and minute lines are also distinctive features of the gilt dial. This dial has a refined beauty that is different from current Rolex models!

"Underline"
If you look closely at this mirror dial , you will see a thin "━" called an underline below the SUBMARINER inscription .
It is said that this dial indicates that radioactive materials are below the prescribed standard in models that initially adopted tritium.
The dial has some small scratches,
The gloss is still there and it is in very good condition.

The luminous index has some chipping and dirt,
In good condition!

This is a rare two-shot with our stock 5513 Gilt/Underline (left).
Both have beautiful gilt dials.
Mirror dials with underlines are prone to deterioration.
Of the many specimens we received, it was honestly surprising to find two in such pristine condition !!
The dial condition of the one on the left is slightly better,
The condition of the needle is better on this first specimen.

Even with the same model, the color of the bezel insert may differ.
Vintage models are interesting because they completely change the atmosphere!
This particular watch has an exquisitely gray-aged insert that gives it a very atmospheric look, and the contrast with the jet black dial is incredibly cool!
*Luminous points are aftermarket products.

The bezel insert, unique to this era, is also attractive!
It features 40 slim memory slots.

The three gold-colored aged hands are also exquisite!
The combination of gold letters and gold hands makes it look really cool!
The condition of the luminous hands is also good.

Pointed Crown Guard (PCG)
The crown guard, also known as the crown guard, is a characteristic of this era and has a certain charm!

The condition is good with some scratches from use,
The case and bracelet are in good condition.

The middle case is thick and not overly finished.

A rivet bracelet is an essential feature for a watch of this age!

The buckle is engraved with the first period of 1969.

The rivet bracelet has some natural warping due to its later age, but is still sturdy.

Wrist shot! So cool!!
The silver underline that subtly appears on the jet black gilt dial is just amazing!!

Vintage Submariner Gilt/Underline "Ref.5513/64"
The gilt dial has a nice sheen, and the exquisitely aged hands and bezel insert make this a really cool piece!
This 5513/Underline is in excellent overall condition.
Let's grab it while we can!
For customers looking for a vintage Submariner with a great atmosphere ,
Please consider this.
