"Meter First"
The mirror dial has been replaced with a matte dial that reduces light reflection.
This is the earliest matte dial, produced from 1967 to 1970.
A distinctive feature of this watch is that the water resistance rating at the 6 o'clock position starts at 200m, which is why it is commonly referred to as "meter first."
All matte dial Ref. 5513s except for this dial are feet first.
Another attractive feature of this dial is that it contains tritium, which reacts to light with light and glows green, just like the luminous mirror dials !
It is difficult to find this type of early matte dial with matching parts these days.
