The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1990
During the long manufacturing period, various changes were made to the specifications.
It's a vintage Explorer.
Today we have the L number, which is the final item.
There is also the E series, which is produced in extremely limited numbers.
The R and L numbers are popular model years that are nearing the end of production.
In particular, L-number specimens are rarely available, so this is the first time we have had one in stock in a long time.
The dial is the final dial that matches the period.
This popular dial features a sharp logo and a well-balanced design!
The dial is in very good condition overall.
It seems that older models tend to have relatively little fading,
There is almost no burning visible on this specimen either.
The index luminous material is also in good condition.
The luminous hands are also in excellent condition with no cracks to be found!
The condition is that there are scratches all over the item,
There are no major scratches and the condition is good.
As you can see, the middle case does not have an excessive finish.
The edge lines are also well-defined!
The hairline on the lug feet is also in good condition.
The buckle clasp code is "N5" which matches the era.
The bracelet is in good condition with only slight creasing!
You have a great look on your face!!
It will be a very impressive specimen,
We hope you will pick up a copy and take a look!
