The Ref.1675 was a long-selling model produced from around 1959 to around 1979.
Around 1967, the dial changed from gilt to matte.
The matte dial introduced today is a radial matte dial characterized by longer minute markers and smaller, centrally placed indices.

This dial is classified as MK3 among matte dials, and is very rare and highly sought after.

Here is a comparison with our in-stock MK5 dial (right).
When compared like this, the characteristics of the MK3 dial are very clear!

This MK3 example has tritium that has beautifully aged to a cream color, giving it a strong vintage feel and excellent presence!
The dial condition is exceptionally good and has been maintained in superb condition.

The lume is all tritium.
The lume on the hands has also aged beautifully, which looks great.

The vibrant and beautiful Pepsi insert is also very appealing!
The insert is in extremely good condition.

The case and bracelet show some signs of use, but there are no noticeable scratches, and the condition is good.

As you can see, the middle case has a solid and impressive presence.

The lug edges are also sharply defined and well-finished!

The bracelet is a folded link 7836 with FF380 end links.
The folded link bracelet is firm and in excellent condition!

The buckle clasp code is "B".

The period-correct bracelet shows only slight stretch!

Wrist shot!! It has a great presence.
The radial matte dial, recognizable at a glance, has an excellent atmosphere and is incredibly cool!

The second-generation GMT-Master Ref.1675/MK3
This example features a rare radial dial.
The dial and lume are in exceptional condition, and the parts are well-matched, making it highly recommended!
It's rare to come across such a well-preserved MK3 dial.
The watch was overhauled by our partner workshop in August 2024.
If you are looking for a vintage GMT-Master, please consider this one.
