The 3rd generation Explorer "Ref.1016" manufactured from around 1959 to 1990.
This vintage Explorer has undergone various specification changes during its long production period.
The one that arrived today is an early circle mirror dial, which is rare to find.

This particular piece is an early mirror dial, with a track-shaped minute circle printed along the outer edge of the dial, called a "Chapter Ring", "Circle Mirror", or "MM Dial", made until around 1963.

Recently, mirror dials seem to be less common,
and among them, the circle mirror is a rare dial that rarely arrives at our store.

There are various types of circle mirror dials,
but this particular piece is an early dial.

The dial condition shows age-appropriate deterioration, but it is a mirror dial where you can enjoy a very natural aging.

It's hard to convey in photos, but the dial and luminous material show aging, while still retaining a subtle luster, which makes this piece incredibly cool.

The luminous material is in good condition with no noticeable chipping.

The condition of the luminous material on the hands is also good.
The color of the indexes and the luminous material match perfectly!!

The condition shows minor signs of wear commensurate with its age, but it's a solid piece for being manufactured around 1960!

The case condition is also good, and it has not undergone excessive finishing!

This rivet bracelet is essential for a mirror dial!

The buckle is a crown "Debeso" buckle!
It has a nice charm!
The clasp is stamped 69.3 and is a later rivet bracelet.

The bracelet is in good condition,
maintaining a beautiful state with no sagging felt.

Wrist shot!!
The aging mirror with a subtle luster and shining gold lettering is
an incredibly cool piece!!
It's hard to find such a circle mirror dial. It really is. It's truly rare.
