This is Kaneko from Commit Ginza!
Today I'm writing about the specification changes to the blue dial of the Patek Philippe Nautilus "Ref. 5711/1A".

This is an early dial. It features large stripes. This particular one is marked 2008.

This dial exists in both Ref. 5711/1A-001 (screw-type bracelet) and Ref. 5711/1A-010 (pin-type bracelet).

And this is the current dial.
Has it changed since around 2018?
The logo is larger,

The specifications of the logo have also been changed.
Incidentally, the white dial "Ref. 5711/1A-011" released in 2012 has had this specification from the start.
The caliber has changed from Cal.315 SC ⇒ Cal.324 SC ⇒ Cal.26-330 SC .
It appears that the new caliber "Cal.26-330 SC" was installed at some point in 2019.
The watch is equipped with a hack function that stops the second hand when the crown is pulled out to adjust the time, eliminating the time periods during which the date cannot be changed.
This is a nice point!
It looks like it will become popular. Keep an eye on the future developments of the extremely popular Nautilus "Ref. 5711/1A" model!
