The long-selling model "Ref. 1675" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1979
Around 1967, the mirror dial was changed to a matte dial.
The matte dial we are introducing this time is commonly known as a “long E dial” because it has a long horizontal line in the middle of the letter “E” in the ROLEX logo.
This is a popular dial that is classified as an MK1 dial among matte dials, due to its characteristics of the early matte dials.
The dial has a very small chip on the minute line,
The condition is very good,
It is in good condition for an early 1970s model.
The luminous material is all tritium. The hands have aged nicely.
The color of the index luminous material is well balanced.
Another attractive feature of this piece is the Pepsi insert, which has retained its color beautifully!
Recommended for those who prefer inserts that are less likely to fade!
If you look closely, you can see that the blue part has been aged exquisitely, making this a wonderful insert!
The condition is good, there are some scratches and small marks due to use,
Overall condition is good.
The middle case is a solid case without excessive finishing.
The sturdy lug feet also give a great impression!
The bracelet is equipped with a period-matching winding bracelet for FF280/7836.
Of course there is some creasing, but the bracelet is in good condition.
The buckle clasp also matches the first period 1971!
Wrist shot!!
A well-balanced and extremely cool vintage GMT Master!
The MK1 dial with its retro font always gets me excited!
