The 3rd generation Explorer "Ref.1016" was manufactured from around 1959 to around 1989.
The model we are introducing today is an R series, which is a late-model individual of the 1016.
The R series, produced near the end of its production, is a popular item that sells quickly in our store every time!
The dial is an MK5, characterized by its sharp logo.
It's a dial appropriate for its age.
The matte black dial is in very good condition!

The luminous material is all tritium.
