The third-generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1990
During the long manufacturing period, various changes were made to the specifications.
It's a vintage Explorer.
This is a very popular vintage model that sells quickly in our store.
The item we have in stock this time is the early matte dial/MK1 manufactured around 1972.
The MK1 dial is called the "frog leg" or "frog foot" dial because the font on the crown mark resembles a frog's leg.
The dial features the adorable crown mark that is unique to vintage models!
This particular watch is a pumpkin model with strong burnt hands and indexes.
This is a piece with a wonderful vintage feel!
The dial has some discoloration, but is generally in good condition.
As you can see, the luminous indexes are in excellent condition!
The stark contrast between the matte black dial and the burnt indexes is really cool.
The rust on the hands due to aging is also a nice touch. The luminous hands are in good condition.
The case and bracelet are in good condition and highly recommended!
The case has some minor scratches from use, but is relatively sturdy.
The rug feet are not overly finished either!
The buckle clasp engraving matches the 3rd period of 1971!
There is little feeling of crease,
This is a wrap bracelet that makes a great impression when you hold it in your hand!
A winding bracelet is an essential item for this age group!
