The first Submariner Date/Ref.1680.
The early model with the red SUBMARINER logo was manufactured from 1969 to 1975.
It is commonly known as the Red Sub .

The dial is MARK5 .
The dial is characterized by the open 6 and the horizontal bars of the "f" and "t" in the waterproof rating of 660ft being aligned.

The dial condition is excellent even when viewed through a magnifying glass.
It's rare to find a dial in such good condition.

All-tritium luminous,
It has a nice burnt finish and has a great atmosphere.

The tritium index is also in excellent condition with no stains or dirt.

The needles have natural aging,
It's in great condition with no noticeable cracks in the luminous material!

This particular model is also attractive in that it is grey silver with a faded MK3/Ghost bezel.
Combined with the beautiful red sub-dial, it exudes a nice vintage feel.
It's cool...

The case and bracelet have scratches appropriate for their age,
The condition is good.

The sides of the case are not particularly rounded, making for a very impressive case.

The condition of the middle case in particular is excellent with sharp edges!!
