The Day-Date is Rolex's highest-end model, available only in gold and platinum.
This is the "Ref. 18238" model, which is the first to allow the change of the day of the week in addition to the date display.
Compared to the thick kamaboko case of the previous model "Ref.18038",
The case has been changed to a stylish one.
The charm of this Day-Date is its lustrous shiny white dial!!
When you actually try to find an old-style Day-Date with a white dial, it's pretty hard to find one.
