The Daytona "Ref. 16520" is equipped with the El Primero movement and was manufactured from the R to P serial numbers.
The item we are introducing today has characteristics of an early model!
Commonly known as the "Inverted 6 Dial"
This is an early dial, manufactured until around the S serial number, where the "6" at the 6 o'clock position / 12-hour counter appears inverted as a "9," leading to its nickname "Inverted 6" or "Reverse 6."
Overseas, it is also called "INVERTED 6."
Incidentally, the dial is "MK4"!
The buckle is a single buckle.
This particular piece has a clasp code of "O," so it comes with a buckle that matches its age.
As a characteristic of early models,
an "inverted 6" dial with a single buckle is an essential feature.
The inverted 6 dial, combined with a matte stainless steel single bracelet,
looks cool with an even more retro feel!
The bezel is "MK4," which matches the age.
The condition of the bezel is excellent with no noticeable wear!
The dial is a glossy shiny dial.
While there may be individual differences, this dial has a clearly different luster than a matte dial, which is its charm.
This dial, rumored to exist in E-series watches, is quite rare to find.
The dial shows some age-related deterioration under a loupe, but
its condition is good.
The luminous material is all tritium!!
The case and bracelet show some minor scratches from use, but
are in very good condition.
While it has been polished, it hasn't been excessively finished,
and the middle case is relatively solid!
The single bracelet is in excellent condition with almost no slack!!
