The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1989
This is a vintage Explorer that has undergone various specification changes over its long production period.

This is a very popular vintage model that sells out quickly in our store, and the item we have in stock this time is the early matte dial/MK1 manufactured around 1970.

The MK1 dial is called the "Frog Leg" or "Frog Foot" because the font on the crown mark resembles a frog's leg.
The dial features the adorable crown mark that is unique to vintage models!

The appeal of this particular watch is the excellent condition of the dial and the beautifully lit tritium luminous material!!
Due to its age, it seems that many MK1 dials are in poor condition, but the dial on this particular watch is in exceptionally good condition.
As you can see, the index luminous material is in excellent condition!!

The case and bracelet are in good condition and highly recommended!!

The case has some scratches and polished areas, but is in good condition!!
*There are scratches on the windshield.

The buckle clasp engraving matches the 3rd period of 1971!!

Although there is some creasing appropriate for its age, it is a wrap bracelet that makes a great impression when you hold it in your hand!
