Submariner "Ref.5513" Maxi Mark I Pre COMEX Dial The "Pre COMEX Dial" is manufactured by Stern, the same company that makes COMEX, and is a rare model found in extremely limited numbers among the Ref.5513s manufactured around 1977.
This model features a chunky vintage-style crown logo at the 12 o'clock position.
When you look at it like this, it's a very cute crown mark!!
The dial has some scuffs and stains that can be seen with a magnifying glass, but overall it is in very good condition.
The luminous hands have some small, barely noticeable cracks, but are in good condition.
As you can see, the index luminous material is in excellent condition.
The maxi dial is characterized by its large indexes!
This is a shot of it with Ref. 5513/42 (left) which we have in stock.
Just by making the index larger, the impression of the dial changes dramatically!

The MK3 bezel is in good condition with the black color still intact!
The condition is good with some scratches from use overall, but the lugs on the case are thick and sturdy.
This is a piece that does not have any excessive finishing.
The later hard bracelet with clasp code "H" is slightly warped, but is in good condition!

The Old Submariner "Ref. 5513 Pre Comex Dial" is a rare stern dial that was produced for a short period of time and is hard to come by.
This is an attractive piece with exceptionally good dial condition.
The overhaul was completed at our affiliated workshop in February 2022!
